DRIP'S GATES STA LEVEL style circuit. This was one of my first builds from over a year ago - I built this purely for smashing drums and got excited when I saw that Drip offered a 2 channel version, much more useful for the modern day. Consequently I've decided only to demonstrate drums on this - you can get a much smoother response if you drop your input level to mic, I often use a Shure A15AS to do this. This is built by me in the UK, I make these videos to help/encourage others, I'm a novice builder with not much in the way of circuit knowledge, a lot of issues have been solved trial and error. Have done a lot of groundwork sourcing parts for these. Please feel free to contact me on the email below or comment!! Beware tho - there's 300V running on each channel of this.
