Minecraft Survival: Episode 1 | World of Adventure

Hello. This is The Dylan Snider, and this is my first episode to what will be a series of me playing Java Minecraft in survival mode. I apologize for my coughing in this video. I've been sick for a while and my throat has a bad tickle, but I couldn't wait to make this video. I posted this late because I wanted more videos ready before I introduced the series. And I adjusted the mic and gameplay audio, so my voice is easier to hear. That change will start in the next video. I used to play a lot of Minecraft back in the early 2010's. The home computer that had the launcher stopped working, so I haven't played Minecraft for some time. I do have access to an old laptop which also plays the old version of Minecraft, but it doesn't support online, and it doesn't play the game. I have rarely been exposed to modern Minecraft gameplay. I haven't sat down to watch gameplays of modern Minecraft except for some videos by Poofesure. Throughout the series, I will not look online for hints or clues to get through Minecraft. I won't know how to craft most things, or what newer mobs do. I can only use what the game has to offer, and learn on my own. *SURVIVAL SERIES: The goals of the series will include typical goals, such as finding shelter, building a base, and collecting loots, but I have also made three extra goals. I must collect ten plants that are new to me. That will encourage me to explore the game more vastly. I will also mine a diamond. I don't recall collecting diamonds in survival. I was more of a creative mode build-whatever kind of kid. And lastly, I must defeat the Ender Dragon, which I have never done before in survival mode. *SERVER SERIES: I will mainly spend my time doing Build Battles on the Hypixel server. I will also try other minigames. The only goals are to win and not lose. If you have any suggestions for challenges such as "Don't use _____" or "Don't touch _____" comment below what you want and what minigame to play. LENGTH: Content duration will vary, depending on how much progress I make. It don't see myself making future videos an hour long. Since this was the introduction, there was more exploring and crafting that I had to do just to settle down and make some form of shelter. In future episodes, I will be able to make more progress. I will exclude repetitive actions and other filler, since it doesn't contribute much to the video. The fights and adventuring will remain nearly untouched. SCHEDULE: For the first 10 videos, I will upload 3 videos each week at noon, Eastern Standard Time. That way, there's enough content for viewers (like you) to consume and decide whether you're into this kind of content. It will be a random order of survival videos and online server videos. After the first ten videos, I will upload twice a week, Saturdays and Sundays. Same time of the day, at noon. It will be a continuous back-and-forth between two series: Survival Saturday, and Server Sunday.
