Lot #1110 - This loaded 1970 Shelby GT500 Super Cobra Jet SportsRoof is finished in its original color of Candy Apple Red with a black Deluxe interior. Documented by the Shelby Registry being a 1 of 1 Shelby built with these options, including a Drag Pack 428 SCJ Ram Air V8 engine, 3-speed automatic transmission, 3.91 gears with nodular rear end, XHD competition suspension with Goodyear F60-15 tires, tinted glass, forced power ventilation, sports deck fold down rear seat, power brakes, power steering and an AM radio which has been upgraded to factory correct AM/FM stereo by previous owner. This 64,420 original mile Shelby started restoration as a straight and solid rust-free body with all its original sheet metal, floors, fiberglass, and glass. After being completely restored, it now has been recently updated to today's concours driven standards by Meyer’s C.A.R.S. The SCJ Shelby is equipped with original parts, Super Cobra Jet engine, C6 transmission, and nodular rear end. The SCJ/Drag Pack option has several unique differences including: externally balanced 428 Super Cobra Jet Engine, unique crankshaft, counterweight damper, LeMans rods, pistons, flexplate, V-code 3.91 gears Traction-Lok nodular rear end, and comes with the addition of an oil cooler.
