An invitation to give a talk to a group of interested club members was a fantastic excuse for me to get my ideas and a few photos together about the Linleys Garden Railway. Any opportunity I have to share my ideas is most welcome. The Ickenham District Society of Model Engineers is a longstanding club with a site in Ickenham, Middlesex, England. They operate a ground-level combo track of 5 inch and 3.5 inch rails, running a mix of live steam and battery locos on the fully signalled track system. They also have a raised track loop of a mix of OO, Gauge 0 and Gauge 1 track, again running live steam and regular electric trains.
