Welcome to Mak's Cookbook! In today's video, we show you how to make the deliciously savory but sweet Chicken with Cashew nuts in Yellow Bean Sauce dish! You will need to watch these videos: How to cut and marinate chicken breast: • Preparing chicken breast for Chinese dishes Yellow bean sauce: • How to make Yellow Bean Sauce Ingredients: 200g marinated chicken (cooked) (see above) handful of leeks handful of sweet peppers 40g cashew nuts (cooked) 100ml yellow bean sauce (see above) sesame oil shao xing wine Instructions: 1) Cook ~40g cashew nuts for 1-2 minutes in boiling water, then drain and wash, and dry with kitchen towel 2) Heat pan/wok and stir fry the cashew nuts for 4-5 minutes on a low-medium heat OR air fry at 160°C for 8 minutes (shaking half way) 3) Stir fry the chicken and add in some more oil and water now and then.
