Day 8 was easily the most nerve-wracking day of the Vietnam home renovation so far. From high-altitude AC installs to "borrowing" the neighbor's yard, things got intense quickly. We finally got the micro-cement finished on the new wall, but the cleanup process was a total nightmare that took way longer than we planned. The highlight (or lowlight) of the day was the AC team. Watching them hang off a single 2x4 over an 8-meter drop to mount the compressors was enough to make my stomach turn. Plus, we ran into a major snag with the new skyline pulley system—it’s sitting way too low and hitting the washing machine, so we’re already looking at a Day 9 relocation. In this video: The "Death-Defying" AC Install: Running drainage and exhaust pipes through solid walls and mounting compressors over a massive drop. Micro-Cement Update: Seeing the finished texture of the wall from the neighbor's side. The Skyline Fail: Why the new pulley system didn't work and the plan to fix it. The Cleanup: Why micro-cement is the messiest part of this entire build.
