Hitachi Excavator 220 Review Switchs | Tata Hitachi Excavator switch | Hitachi Excavator All Opreting switch, Hitachi excavators feature a range of switches, primarily located on the right-hand console and the left-hand switch panel, for controlling various machine functions . Key operating switches include: Essential Operating Switches Key Switch (Ignition Switch): Used to start and stop the engine. Engine Control Dial/Throttle Knob: Adjusts the engine speed (RPM). Pilot Shut-Off Lever (Safety Lock Lever): This critical lever, usually on the left console, must be in the down (locked) position to enable the hydraulic controls (joysticks and travel pedals). Lifting it up disables the controls for safety. Power Mode Switch (P mode): Selects the power work mode for high performance tasks, providing maximum engine power. Economy Mode Switch (E mode): Selects the economy mode to reduce engine speed for normal work, lowering fuel consumption and noise. Auto-Idle Switch: When activated, this function automatically reduces the engine to low idle speed after a short period of no operation, to save fuel. Pushing the push button low idle (PBLI) can also activate this. Work Light Switch: Turns the excavator's work lights on or off. Wiper/Washer Switch: Controls the front window wiper and washer functions. Travel Speed Mode Switch: Allows the operator to switch between slow and fast travel speeds.
