CEX - Buyer Beware

The high street videogame outlet, the Computer Exchange (CEX) is selling second hand video games with counterfeit box art but not telling their customers. This is a shocking practice for a retail outlet to be involved in and is something you would usually expect from the less scrupulous market traders or ebay sellers. In effect they are lying to their customers by omission but they could also be in contravention of copyright law if they have not sought permission to reproduce artwork from the copyright owners (i.e. the game developers/publishers). Whether they have permission or not, though, they are deliberately misleading their customers and that is completely unacceptable.
