This video was made for all employees of Pan Am. Part of the goal was to persuade employees to put pressure on their unions to accept concessions from the company. It features Martin R. Shugrue (1941—1999), Pan Am's Chief Operating Officer. This video contains an incredible inside look into a major American corporation's planning through turbulent economic times. A little over a year later, the devastating terrorist attack on Pan Am Flight 103 sent the airline into an unrecoverable situation and the airline eventually ceased operations on December 4, 1991.
