Jet2 Trip Report flying from Manchester to Ibiza onboard one of the last Jet2 Boeings 757 on a beautiful summer morning. My first time flying on a Jet2 Boeing 757 (and hopefully not the last one) on a lovely early-morning flight from Manchester to Ibiza. We arrived very early at Manchester Terminal 2 so we had plenty of time for planespotting. We were even the first ones to enter the gates area, so we saw how the lights turned on as we walked through it. We boarded our beautiful Boeing 757 on time. Due to an air traffic regulation, it was not until 20 minutes after the scheduled when we were allowed to push back and takeoff from runway 23L. The departure was sensational. The Boeing 757 is known for having more engine power than what it needs, which allows it to make super smooth liftoffs, as it was today. We flew southbound and crossed the English Channel flying towards Le Havre. We crossed all France and reached the Pyrenees. From there we flew over Barcelona and entered the Mediterranean Sea. After a beautiful approach over the sea, we landed on time in Ibiza.
