Pongtu Kuh 2025 Celebrated in Changlang with Key Developments Unveiled The Grand Pongtu Kuh 2025 celebration of the Tutsa community was held at the Pongtu Festival Ground in Changlang district, showcasing rich cultural heritage and marking significant developmental milestones for the region. Home Minister Mama Natung attended the event as the Chief Guest, while Member of Parliament Tapir Gao was present as the Guest of Honour. The celebration also saw the presence of Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Tesam Pongte and MLA Laisam Simai as Special Guests. MLA Hamjong Tangha, the Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police of Changlang, various Heads of Departments, TPFC President Latson Harap, and TPFA General Secretary Mukhom Jomoi were also in attendance. A major highlight of the event was the inauguration of a new police station at Yangkang, jointly conducted by Home Minister Natung, MP Gao, Speaker Pongte, and MLA Tangha—signifying a key step towards improving law and order in the area. Another significant development was the laying of the foundation stone for the Tutsa Gurukul at Yatdam by the dignitaries. The Gurukul is envisioned as a vital center for cultural preservation and education within the Tutsa community.
