This was going to be a joke build, but I ended up doing pretty okay with it. https://mugenmonkey.com/darksouls3/59761 ^This version of the build doesn't have the Avelyn. Having it was nice but really wasn't worth the stat investment imo, as it required 16 Strength and I think like 8 extra Vitality to wield. Great Magic Barrier is optional, but extremely helpful against sorcerers, plus it stacks with Iron Flesh (for some fucking reason). Also, it's usually helpful to swap the Ring of Steel Protection to the appropriate Stoneplate Ring when facing casters. I chose to go 40 Dex and infuse both the Mail Breaker and Manikin Claws with Sharp because that's what got me the most AR with the least amount of stat investment, but another alternative is to go 18 Dex (the minimum required to wield the Manikin Claws), then invest 30 points into Luck and infuse the Claws and Mail Breaker with Hollow. At maximum hollowing, having both of these equipped will give you a +10 Luck bonus, bringing it up to 40. This will reduce your AR but will drastically increase your bleed buildup. Here's a mugenmonkey link for that version of the build: https://mugenmonkey.com/darksouls3/61962 I figured out about halfway through recording that spamming L1 doesn't work because they can roll away after being hit by two L1's, and if you hit someone during their roll animation, it will still build up bleed despite not doing any damage. AND if you proc bleed during someone's roll animation, it will trigger the bleed animation but will do zero bleed damage, and their bleed buildup will reset (this actually happens a few times during the first half of the video, for example at 1:13). So it's usually best to do two L1's, then quickstep forward in anticipation of a roll, then do two more L1's. The insane L1R2L1L1 fist weapon meme combo doesn't work with Manikin Claws.
