For today's free wire tutorial, I'd like to share my fancy frame technique. It can be applied to very many wire wrapped designs; I've used this fancy wire in tiaras, bangles, rings etc, but it's absolutely brilliant as a fancy frame for pendants. You'll benefit from having dual size bail making pliers, mine feature 4mm and 6mm pins. I've left in my Rookie Mistake of the week to demonstrate that even seasoned makers will have those moments and also how to overcome; and prevent (DUH) such things from happening. In the video I forget to check if my slab has a large enough drill hole; you can either use a different slab/bead (as I did) or size down the central core wire to a 0.8mm / 20g instead.
