A note to Bononcrusher2: There's no rule that says two users can't upload two sketch videos for the same character. Any character contains a limitless number of jokes you can do about them, and even this video contains a few cut sketches. If your Utsuho Edition is as good as you hyped it out to be in your trailer, it will have no problem beating this video we slung together in a week. I'm not doing this out of anger (in fact, I still think you're an amazing animator and your videos are visually amazing), but to hopefully help you realize that making hyped-up claims for a video you haven't started work on is not the best way to go about building up the release of a sketch video. To everyone else: Well, folks, this video sure came by surprise for all of us: especially me. I'll probably explain the full story in another video, but here's the short version: after the trailer for bononcrusher2's "Touhou Sketches: Utsuho Reiju Edition" sent a fellow Walfaser and friend of mine (who I will not name out of respect) into a Heroic BSOD on bononcrusher2's claim that it will dwarf Spaztique an beats0me's videos, it will rely heavily on effects and fight scenes, and it won't be released until December 12, I decided to make this video within a week to prove that real sketch videos don't come from vain ambition or effects, but from heart. Fueled by my sympathy for my friend, my love of my subscribers, and the friendship and support of just about ALL of the Walfasers (LikeThisRLYMatters, StevotheHuman, beats0me, Miniwitch3, ColonelDiamondback, kitty0233, etc.), I got it done just in time, and it blows INDY and YSE out of the water. This time, I'm mixing my Camtasia puppetry and AndySnap synching for new effects, there's some really advanced frame-by-frame animation, amazing voices provided by NuclearFalcon (who is basically Utsuho incarnate), beats0me (doing a knockout performance as Cirno that was so funny that I scrapped the original ending in favor of beats0me's ad-libbing), Nora Neko, TheyAreNext, and kitty0233, and some of the funniest sketches ever adapted to Walfas. The sketches were also arranged to give a detailed look at Utsuho's backstory, so this video could serve a nice little character introduction, too. I hope you enjoy it as much as I had making it and working with the community to finish this in a week. Voice Credits (in case you didn't want to sit through the credits): NuclearFalcon146: Utsuho Spaztique: Reimu, Marisa, Satori, Sanae, and the Gappy Stu NoraNeko Sparks: Kanako and Nitori TheyAreNext: Suika Kitty233: Orin Disclaimer Stuff: The following uses tiny, low-quality audio snippets for fan use only.
