Bright Virginias Tobacco Garden

This year I decided that I wanted to grow some Virginia tobaccos along with my regular pepper garden. I didn't have a clue what to expect since I live the the central Sierra mountains. So far I am surprised how well they're doing. I did have to plant them in pots because the soil is too acidic with the pines and cedar trees. For the soil I just used Miracle Grow potting soil with a few cups of ash in each large pot and then I water them once a week with Miracle Grow. I am going to give them tomato fertilizer tomorrow for the first time.
