SAN BERNARDINO Possible Fatal House Fire

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 9-22-25 10:45 PM LOCATION: 2132 Genevieve St AREA/CITY: San Bernardino DETAILS: On September 22, 2025, at 10:45 PM, San Bernardino County Fire responded to a reported residential structure fire in the 2100 Block of Genevieve Street in San Bernardino. Units arrived at the scene with smoke showing from a single-story house with reports of one person trapped inside. Units located a fire in a bedroom and extinguished it before it spread. After extinguishing the fire, a victim was located in the bedroom under the debris. The victim was pulled from the home, and CPR was initiated. The victim was transported with CPR in progress to a local hospital in critical condition. The cause of the fire is under investigation by San Bernardino County Fire Arson.
