German Pronunciation: "weh" versus "wie"

"weh" and "wie" sounds similar to you and other people don't understand your German? Listen to this video and get it right! Don't try to read instructions like "It should sound like the English word 'way' -- because it doesn't. The German "w" sound is different: the lower lip needs to touch your upper teeth. First listen, then record yourself with your smart phone and listen to your own voice. Does it sound like the original German native speaker? Congratulations, you got it! If not -- listen to the video again :-) The vowel has a slight difference. For the "ie" sound in "wie?" you pull the corners of your mouth more apart and you amy show some more teeth.
