Nailing It: Tales from the Comedy Frontier by Rich Hall (Book Review)

Hello everyone and welcome to my latest book review. Today it's my pleasure to share some lessons I learned from my favourite comedian, Rich Hall's new book "Nailing It: Tales from the Comedy Frontier" published in 2022. The book is a collection of the stories through his life where he had to "nail" the performance in front of an audience. Along the way, we learn more about his life and how he got into comedy. What I liked the most was the characters and the immersive experiences he seemed to get into for a laugh. Of course, this channel is all about me sharing some of the lessons learned in books and in this one it was about: (a) This book mentions Proust, Hunter S Thomson and Pynchon (what the?) (b) My favourite navigator of all time, William Bligh, is mentioned (what the?) (c) He likes improv (what the?) (d) He created a song about an Australian drink, Bundaberg Rum, and in the process seemed to capture the true bogan essence of the type of people who drink it in Australia....(legend). Most of all, thanks to the book, I've now tasted Bundaberg Rum.
