Tyne and Wear Metro Class 599 Class 994 terminating at Sunderland. I said in the video read description so there was a large service suspension all day between South Hylton and East Boldon. Eventually 2 trains which were stranded in the Sunderland area were put back into service as the problem was up the line. There were a few extra trains down Sunderland but they were put into sidings and 1 was parked at South Hylton. So it ended up terminating at Sunderland. Tyne and Wear Metro, operated by Nexus and Stadler is a Metro system based in Sunderland and Newcastle mainly in Tyne and Wear in the UK 🇬🇧. The current Metro fleet Class 994 or Class 599, is soon to be replaced by Stadler rail Class 555. The Metro is the 3rd largest in the UK, beaten by the London Underground and the DLR.
