Reuploaded in higher quality! Doom 3 nightmare difficulty playthrough: Level 26: Caverns Area 2 Welcome to my Doom 3 nightmare playthrough! I try to go fast wherever I can, to keep video time down and to keep things interesting, but I do however go out of my way to get useful items, and I don't do any really difficult or crazy tricks. I'm basically showing a fast and easy way anyone can beat this game on the highest difficulty. Nightmare difficulty in this game means: All health packs are removed from the game (except those rare wall-mounted healthkits) Your health constantly drops to 25hp (5hp every 5 seconds or so) Enemies do a lot of damage You get the Soul Cube from at start of the game Level specific notes: The hardest part of this level is actually right at the beginning, where you're pitted against an arch-vile and 2 hell knights in a small room. Just surviving this on nightmare can be quite a challenge. The rest of this short level is not too hard, just don't turn on any lights (except at the end of the level), as most of them are nasty traps (hell knights spawning in, etc...) The 2 vagaries at the end don't pose much of a problem if you unleash the soul cube and some BFG on them. I also speeded past some wraiths again, they're too slow to catch up anyway. If you're wondering, the key I grabbed on the table opens a room with some really nice ammo back at the beginning of the level, but I didn't need it. Make sure you charge your soul cube before exiting this level (kill some trites), it'll give you a nice advantage in the next (final) one. Thanks and have fun watching!
