What do you know? It's not impossible after all. Often times, at certain parts of this segment, you'll be pushed to the right. However, sometimes you won't. I'm really not sure why. When it doesn't, it's significantly easier. When it does, it's not impossible, but it requires a little more effort and some different strategies. With the... seaweed? you need to know which parts can hurt you and which can't. I found there was some leeway at the tips, for the most part. The very last part where you have to get through 2 electrical beams requires almost perfect timing. This is also the only region I've noticed that will always push you rightwards even when the other areas don't for whatever reason. No save states or slowdown was used.
