Urban Innovator Alfredo Brillembourg Alfredo Brillembourg founded interdisciplinary design firm Urban-Think Tank (U-TT) with Hubert Klumpner in Caracas. Since 2010, he has held a joint Chair of Architecture and Urban Design at ETH Zürich and been the recipient of several awards linked to innovative social and sustainable design. Through Urban-Think Tank, Brillembourg brings together architects, civil engineers, environmental planners, landscape architects, and communication specialists in a holistic approach to urban development. With the current demographic shift to urban living, U-TT brings innovative yet practical solutions for the cities of tomorrow. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
