How much should I charge for my art work? Unfortunately there's no true industry standard for comic book page rates. The value of one's art depends on a myriad of factors, including but not limited to experience, output, location, and many other things that are hard to pin point. I decided to do some research of what people were posting online, as well as conducting a survey to give more information. Based on my experiences I have been able to get art I am happy with in the range of $75-125 per page, and have seen some great artists going as low as $35-85 a page for artwork that I would consider fully realized, but the upper end of the professional industry can be as comfortable as $250 and as high as $500 or more depending on the demand for your work. This video is meant to provide context, ultimately it's up to you to decide what your work is worth and what you value it at, just make sure you're being defensive of your talent while not pricing yourself out of a worthwhile opportunity.
