The characteristic half-timbered farms on the island of Funen are closely linked to the hilly landscapes. They are part of the very soul of Funen's cultural history. But the old farms are disappearing. Over the years, the Danish Planning Agency under the Ministry of the Environment has followed the development of the half-timbered farms on Funen. This film from 1991 focuses on how many farms are still so intact that they can show the development of building culture from the 17th century to the mid-19th century.
