On scene video of a vehicle into a dwelling rescue assignment in the Goldenridge section of Levittown on New Years Eve. Fire rescue from Levittown #2 and Edgely were dispatched shortly after 6:00 along with police and EMS to the area of Gun Road and Goldenridge Drive with the report of a car inside a house with the driver entrapped and unconscious. Levittown #2 Deputy 13 arrived on scene with Bristol Township Police, confirmed one person in the vehicle but not trapped and decided that Rescue 13's crew could handle the assignment. According to police; a 23 year old male had overdosed on Heroin while traveling westbound on the 200 block of Goldenridge Drive causing his vehicle to veer off the pavement. The newer model red Honda Civic then traveled over the PECO power lines right of way, and struck a tree stump before smashing through a fence and into the rear of the residence at #4 Gun Road; injuring the homeowners. The driver was revived by first responders who administered narcan, to reverse the effects of the drug. Firefighters arrived soon after and assisted EMS with removing the now conscious driver from the vehicle. He was transported by ambulance to Lower Bucks Hospital where he was treated for injuries and is planned to be released into police custody with charges related to this accident as well as being served on warrants. A resident who was inside the home at the time suffered lacerations to his head due to being struck by a falling glass door. He was transported via a separate ambulance to an area hospital. A female in the residence was also taken to the hospital to be evaluated; her injuries were not specified. The family's dog; a Yellow Labrador was startled by the crash and frantically ran out of the the home; resulting in it being fatally struck on Edgely Road. The motorist who struck the family's pet did not stop. Bristol Township Police are inquiring on information regarding the identity of that driver. Police completed their on scene investigation within an hour and Keith's Towing recovered the vehicle lodged inside the home.
