In this two-day adventure through the Seattle and Tacoma area, I went on an unforgettable grunge rock tour exploring iconic spots tied to legendary bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Alice In Chains. One of the most powerful moments was visiting Viretta Park, located next to the home where Kurt Cobain tragically took his own life—a quiet, emotional spot filled with fan tributes. I also visited the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP), saw where Seattle’s underground music culture took root, and stood in the shadows of the city’s rich rock history. This tour was a must for any fan of ’90s grunge music. Beyond the music, I explored iconic Seattle attractions like the world-famous Pike Place Fish Market, where fish fly and tourists cheer, and I even stopped by the gross-but-fun Bubblegum Wall in Post Alley. With just enough time left, I made the scenic drive to the incredible Gorge Amphitheatre, one of the most stunning venues in the U.S., to catch RÜFÜS DU SOL and Fred Again live under the stars.
