This is Part 2 of our Speed Runs and Torture tests of the BadAss 2826-1360KV Brushless Motor. I mounted the motor to my 11 year old FF-Supernova RC Plane in the last video and ran it on a 5S 3300mah Lipo battery. For this video I got two new 3200mah 50C 6S Lipo Batteries. The BadAss prop charts did not show anything for 6S batteries, So we did a few bench tests to get an idea of what we could run. We ended up using an APC 8x6 Sport Prop and a 7x8 Sport Prop. These 2 props on the Test Bench were pulling more than 100amps, more than the 95amps recommended. In the Air, actual Amps should go down because of the rushing air effect while in flight. The Motor took what we threw at it and never came down feeling overly hot. Pushing motors beyond the manufacturers ratings will most likely decrease the longevity of the motor and not recommended. The BadAss motor appears to be of top quality and at least for now appears to be unharmed.
