🚗 ON THE ROAD: ICELAND – Westfjords Drive 🏔️ We did this in October 2024. This 34-minute video is packed with stunning POV driving shots, travel tips, and voiceovers to guide you through the journey. Join me as we take on one of Iceland’s most remote and breathtaking drives—through the Westfjords! After spending the night near the ferry dropoff from Snæfellsnes, we hit the road toward Dynjandi (also known as Bridalveil Falls and the Jewel of the Westfjords) and Ísafjörður, stopping at some hidden gems along the way. While we didn’t have time to explore every fjord (missing spots like Patreksfjörður and the Látrabjarg cliffs) this trip, this journey gave us a taste of the wild beauty this region has to offer. Along the way, we’ll talk about: 🛣️ What you need to know about driving in the Westfjords—road conditions, fuel stops, and weather considerations. 🗿 A curious roadside attraction: Steinwachter, a statue seemingly built at random. 💦 Dynjandi Waterfalls—one of the most spectacular sights in the Westfjords!
