#fragrancereview #nicheparfum #perfume Today we are talking about the Essences, from the house of Amouage. This collection from the house comprises three fragrances: Lustre, Reasons and Outlands. Said to have been aged for 6 months and infused with sandalwood chips and oak barrels, these three fragrances all seem to have a thick, syrupy wear on skin. To my nose, Lustre is a simple sandalwood fragrance with some aromatic touches that dries down to a resinous and creamy sandalwood, reminding me of other fragrances in this scent profile. Reasons, instead, is an aromatic woodsy fragrance that comes off quite green to my nose, as well as a bit powdery, spiced, and aromatic as well. Perhaps the most masculine leaning of the three, and one that is well done in my opinion. Finally, the most popular of the three is Outlands. Outlands is a sweet, thick, resinous, ambery fragrance with hints of something citrusy, that also incense and hints of rose than run through the fragrance.
