How to Craft a Duct Tape Bacon Envelope

Learn how to craft a DIY bacon envelope using Duck Tape® brand duct tape in this easy craft tutorial from DIY and lifestyle YouTuber LaurDIY. This bacon envelope was made using a bacon printed duct tape and a brown color theme, but with hundreds of colors and prints available, you can substitute these tapes with any style you choose. SKILL LEVEL Advanced DUCK TAPE Duct tape colors/prints used in this video: Bacon - http://duckbrand.co/bacon-yt OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED Poster Board Cardboard Twine or String Brads Scissors Crafting Board INSTRUCTIONS (00:42) Start by making a duct tape fabric about 8 inches long. Trace your template on to the fabric, and cut it out. (01:00) Next, attach a strip of tape on to one of the side flaps, followed by folding the opposite flap in, and then attaching the two flaps together with a piece of tape. (01:25) Do the same for the bottom flap to make the pocket. (01:38) Next trace and cut out a circle from the cardboard. (01:51) Cover the circle with duct tape by folding a piece over the circle and trimming down the edges. (02:05) Then carefully poke a hole in the center of the circle so you can push the brad through the circle. (02:20) Next push it through the envelope. (02:41) Add the piece of twine so you can fasten the envelope. Use a piece of tape to secure the twine down to the inside of the top flap.
