The alien bugs are back and invading Earth once more! So you know what that means? That the EDF is ready to deploy! And so am I together with my buddy Wuzi as we take up arms and send the bugs straight back from whence they came! EDF 5 is a great game with satisfying action on an epic scale, but its a bit lackluster on the progress it made compared to EDF 4. The graphics have barely been changed and many of the assets are reused from previous games. I'd also say that the storyline and missions have a better flow in EDF 4 with some great buildup whereas this feels a bit all over the place. Cool new additions are some great new locations including European maps, different weather types like rain or snow and the AI finally being able to use Mechs. Though I had a good time, I do hope that Earth Defense Force 6 will improve the standard a bit more and provide the clash with the bugs on an even more epic scale. #edf5 #gaming #earthdefenseforce #edf
