The Monster Salmon of Nootka Sound

While fishing with Nootka Marine Adventures at their Newton Cove Resort location we found plenty of fish during fun filled days on the water. Near the end of the day though we got into one we will never forget! After assessing the health of the fish at the side of the boat it was determined the fish would perish so we decided to harvest it and take it home. It is important to assess the health of the fish before deciding what to do with it. For more information, check out our video on our key steps for deciding whether to release or retain fish.
