Over the past couple of months I have been practising my spindle spinning skills. Starting on July 23rd (so, 2 days after Tour de Fleece) I have started counting down the days to Halloween (so, 100 days) by making support spindle spun sock yarn. I spun two bits of fiber by regenbogenwolle, one of unknown provenance, and the other one a blend of polwarth and milk protein fiber. The purple and green look like a spooky combination of yarns to me. Join me on this vlog where I spin enough yarn to eventually knit myself a cosy pair of autumnal halloween socks for socktober.
