(YTP) RWBY 2SDAY: THE RWBENING

A year. A whole year! Yay! RWBY still hasn't come back yet though, lol. But hey, I'm grateful for this channel and I'm grateful for all of you! Thank you to everyone who watched, everyone who liked, and EVERYONE who commented. You know I read every one. I'd also like to the that one guy that posted 2 of my videos to reddit which got a ton of eyes on them (you know who you are ;)), and "The Judgmental Critter" for tweeting out my YTP of them and commenting. That was really a high point in my 'career', and it still warms my heart to think about. This video has 'last video' vibes to it, and yeah it kind of felt like that while making it. I understand that practically everyone that is subscribed is a RWBY fan, which makes sense because I AM a RWBY man, but that really got to me because I felt like I HAD to upload RWBY videos to this channel, which kind of threw a wrench into this being 'just to throw videos on when I make them for fun'. That kind of made me self-conscious about this channel, and a combination of what I thought people wanted from me along with a natural loss of interest in RWBY over time (the show hadn't really had much made officially and I don't tend to interact with the community) led me to gradually want to make RWBY videos less and less. I also uploaded less overall 1. just because life and 2. I helped my homie edit his videos (he's greece wallace on YT if you're wondering, the videos have a lot of my vibe and I made sure to put in RWBY references), but his videos all flopped, at least for someone like him who wanted to do that for a career, so he let me go to do his own thing. We're still homies btw, he just doesn't need me for what he plans to do. I've had some free time recently, and for the longest time I wanted to do something for those core fans while celebrating this channel for everyone. That's what this video was (my homie actually helped ME this time, both with his own jokes, and making the thumbnail to be like my earlier videos). I wanted my 'return' to RWBY to be huge, bigger than any of my other videos, with jokes I cut out of previous YTPs for brevity, and some fancier edits. Finishing this video kind of left a hole in my heart, though. It felt like a huge celebration of what I had done, yeah, but it also felt like a goodbye. To everybody watching, this channel will always upload YTPs and sh*tposts, but I'm not a youtuber. I can't upload consistently, even if I really wanted. This channel just can't be what some of you (and a lot of the time what I) might want it to be, but that's okay. I'll never stop having fun making these videos, and I'll always be thankful.
