Pretty OTIS Double-File Escalators - The Westin Hotel - Seattle, WA

I'm finally getting around to posting my Seattle escalator content! I have such a massive backlog that sometimes it gets overwhelming looking at all of it and deciding what to post next. Now that I've finally got all of my 2022 content done, I can move on to my big trips. To start off Seattle, here are the main escalators inside of the Westin Downtown. These are super cool OTIS double-file escalators with pink and purple handrail lighting. They also have nice bright green landing lights. These would look very cool in the dark. These also go into energy-saving mode when they're not in use for a certain period, also known as "sleepy mode," as I like to call it. The steps slowly crawl and when somebody walks up to the escalator, there are sensors that tell the motor to speed up to normal speed. One of the escalators had broken sensors, so the ride was very slow lol. Neat escalators!
