Indian Bay Leaf | Tejpatta tree | Tejpatta Cinnamomum Tamala, Indian bay leaf, also known as tejpat, tezapatta, Malabar leaf, Indian bark, Indian cassia, or malabathrum, is a tree in the family Lauraceae that is native to India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and China. Oscillating conveyors with aspiration channel & feed hopper From the hopper, the material is first fed to the oscillating conveyor which removes dust and undersized. Then the material goes to the second oscillating conveyor. To this, the aspiration channel is attached to lift the dry leaves and heavy material like stones and sticks get separated. Dry material travels on the oscillating conveyor, where it goes through the classifier channel. Due to high-pressure suction, leaves are lifted by the air, leaving behind heavy materials like stone and sticks. Collection system with rotary valve. The bag filter collects light dust in the bag and clean air is released. It is of self-cleaning type. Tej Patta is widely used in Indian veg and non-veg cuisine whereas bay leaf is the very ancient spice ( in form of dried leaves) from Europe, earlier from the Mediterranean region.
