Born in Argentina in 1999, Ramiro—professionally known as Calmy—discovered his calling in 2016. A transformative set by Marco Carola and Richie Hawtin at Space Ibiza sparked a deep passion for house music that would eventually define his career. In 2017, Ramiro moved to Australia, officially adopting the moniker "Calmy" and refining his craft behind the decks by 2022. Calmy’s rise in the Australian scene was marked by a significant win in the SASH open slot competition, where his impeccable warm-up mix earned him a spot with the renowned collective. Since then, he has become a fixture at major festivals, including Earth Frequency (Love Camp, 2024), Subsonic (2024), and Initiation (2023). His versatile sound has also resonated at local staples such as WeLove, Spicy Tech, and Microminimal. His trajectory has seen him share lineups with industry heavyweights like Traumer, Enzo Siragusa, Hector Couto, and Jorge Savoretti, as well as local icons such as Kerry Wallace and Danni B.
