Akron police show images of suspects wanted for violent home invasion, shooting of 25-year-old woman

Akron police officials have released surveillance images that they say are the suspects who were involved in a "violent home invasion and shooting" of a 25-year-old woman on Monday night. CASE DETAILS According to a release from the Akron Police Department, officers responded to the 300 block of East Crosier Street at around 9:38 p.m. on Monday for a reported shooting. The victim, who was located by police upon arrival, sustained multiple gunshot wounds to her legs and abdomen, police say. Responding officers rendered aid to the victim until paramedics arrived, officials confirmed. EMS transported the victim to Cleveland Clinic Akron General for treatment, according to police. Police say preliminary investigations indicate that multiple masked suspects entered the residence through the rear door and opened fire, striking the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene. WHAT THE PHOTOS SHOW According to Akron police, the images obtained by detectives from the department's Major Crimes Unit and released Wednesday "show four individuals approaching the rear door of the residence.
