The State Bicycle Company Montecore 3 is part of the 4130 Core-Line. It is a fixed gear 'Fixie' bicycle with classic messenger bike styling. The shiny steel frame blends perfectly with the polished alloy and chrome accents. This is my first fixie bicycle, so I didn't know what to expect. I learned I'm not a fixie guy, but the bike features a flip flop hub, so it can be converted to a single-speed. The bike ships with only a front rim brake, but a rear brake is included.
