What’s right and what’s wrong? Right or wrong is a point of view that varies between people. Social rules have been incarnated in societies since the beginning of time and people are programmed to distinguish between right and wrong. This is shown in historic events. Each historic event is described in a different way depending on the country. Each war is justified by both sides of the battle. This underlines that every country thinks that we she did is right and what the other did is right. Not everyone can agree on the same rights and the same wrongs. We fear the idea of being in the wrong because it weights more than the idea of being in the right. 1 right can’t compensate for a million wrongs but 1 wrong can destroy a million rights. Not all ways of parenting are similar, they’re DIFFERENT but that doesn’t mean that some are wrong. Don’t be afraid of being in the wrong because you could be in the right somewhere else since the idea of right and wrong is relative My name is Jude Mahfouz, I’m 16 years old and I’m a student at CNDJ. When I was younger, all I cared about was football, but as I grew up my circle of interests started expanding to other social activities such as scouts & volunteering. More importantly, I started thinking about how the world works and asking myself questions instead of simply living in it. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
