Vehicle Inspection Ends With Marijuana Arrest

On August 1st, 2023. An officer from the Menomonee Falls Police department stopped a commercial motor vehicle to conduct a federal motor carrier inspection. During the inspection the officer noted the strong smell of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. The passenger admitted to possessing marijuana, marijuana was located and the passenger was arrested. Further inspection revealed an unsecured load, the driver was suspended and did not have a valid CDL. The driver was issued multiple citations and the truck was towed from the scene due to the violations found. The passenger was brought back to the police department where she was booked, cited and released. This video is for educational purposes only.
