Hey guys! This is the Morisons Road level crossing on the Shepparton Line in Mangalore. Its a unique V/Line setup that was commissioned in early October 2022 as part of Stage 2 of the Shepparton Line Upgrade. Before these signals, the crossing was passive. Unlike the majority of the rest of the crossings upgraded as part of Stage 2, this one has a little bit of a funky setup on the gated signals. Usually, the front lights would just be installed on the same crossarm as the back lights, but for some reason this crossing got taller poles and the front lights are higher, on separate crossarms. Honestly, I have no idea why this was done, as the crossing barely sees any vehicles as Morisons Road only continues to less than 10 homes. Nonetheless, it makes for a nice crossing to visit that breaks up the consistency of all of the other generic 2 signal setups on the line.
