MAGSAYSAY AS MUSE OPENING NIGHT. Thank you to all who came to the opening of "Magsaysay as Muse: Luz Banzon Magsaysay and the Terno as Cultural Identity," last Feb 13 at the Magsaysay Center. The exhibit is the first public offering of the Benilde Fashion Museum and is a collaboration between the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation (RMAF) and the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. Opening the program with me was Br Edmundo Fernandez FSC, Benilde President, and Susan B Afan, President of RMAF. Thank you to the Magsaysay family members who graced the affair - Paco Magsaysay and Margarita Magsaysay - who also cut the ribbon, together with members of the RMAF Board, Cynthia Bautista, and Ambassador Delia Albert. From Benilde - Chancellor Benhur Ong, VP for Administration Butch Tecson, and Corporate Affairs Executuve Vivien Mae Basmayor and representing the Office of Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso, Ar Nikko Atienza, who was a former student.
