It is so rich and creamy and soothes my skin both in the winter and in the summer. I have been playing with different Young Living essential oils to add a slight scent and to help my skin. I have to say that Lavender has been my favorite add but Peppermint was also nice in the summer to cool down after a day in the sun. I have enjoyed a mixture of Frankincense oil and Lavender as well! Kelly and I enjoy making our own products from cough salves and deodorant to a personal lubricant (yep, that’s right!). This lotion is so easy to make. I generally make 2 cups at a time and it lasts me for quite a bit of time. You can multiply this recipe to make as much lotion as you want! I may need to multiply my next batch as I really go through it much quicker in the winter with all this cold, dry air. This would also make a really cute homemade gift idea.
