El Columpio Destildo de Agave en Tequila, Jal

A visit to El Columpio in 2009. This is a destilado de agave fabrica in the town of Tequila, Jalisco. They do not make tequila, though they (as well as a lot of other traditional producers) call it mezcal, but for "legal" reasons, it is called destilado de agave. This is a great family run distillery, making a very distinctive and tasty distillate from the Tequilaña Weber Azul agave! Unfortunately, there are people who are trying to destroy these types of products and the families that make them with a new law called NOM 186. Please look it up and help make sure this law never passes.
