The primary concern in any case is infection. So these facial fractures which are not brought back into their original position can join itself in a very improper manner that is it's called malunion. So if that happens then it's very difficult to treat these kind of fractures and then the second one is infection. These fractures which are not treated properly can lead to infection and then pus discharge and space infection which can lead to too many complications in the future. And then we have consistent pain, a pain that never leaves because these fractures have been joined in a very improper manner . And then there is inability to eat.
