RNLI Amble, Shannon Class Lifeboat (Elizabeth and Leonard) arrival

A special arrival at Amble today was the arrival of the first Shannon class 'Amble Lifeboat'. The original delivery date was postponed weeks ago due to initial (apparent engine) problems. Despite this though it was really good to see how many people came out to welcome in our RNLIS first new Shannon Class lifeboat. This represents a very good step up from the current Mersey class.
