The province of Nova Scotia is a cycling paradise. With numerous rail trails, including 3 top quality destination rail trails, incredible country roads, peaceful scenic routes, and the world famous Cabot Trail through Cape Breton Highlands National Park. The wonderful cycling both on and off road is matched by the beauty of the landscapes, especially during the fall season, as the trees turn to fiery shades of red, orange, and yellow. And of course there is the beauty of the ocean that almost completely surrounds the province and its 13,000km of coastline. It's a truly wonderful destination to cycle. In the summer of 2022, I cycled 15,000 km across Canada in 175 days from May 21st to November 11th, Departing Victoria, BC, and arriving Cape Spear, NFLD. This is the story of the ninth province of that journey. The Nova Scotia adventure took place from October 14th to 29th.
