episode 003 of turning my life into short movies. tldr: about two months ago, i recently got a new job after the previous one shutdown. while waiting to hear back if i'll get the offer i decided to work on youtube. i made two videos, got a ton of views, grew the channel to 15.8k from 200, it was sick to see. it gave me confidence & made me think, "oh fk, ppl actually like my shit lol." then i got an email back from the new company, i got the job. it was a cool one too, paid extremely well, couldn't complain. my role on paper was, "head of story-telling" lol, so dope. life was feeling hella good. i got a coo job & my yt popping off, i'm set. but then after a month, i felt unmotivated to do anything. i was losing the excitement i had when i first started & did not feel like starting anything new. i tried to fight the feeling but i came to a realization that, trying to do a full-time job while working on your own thing is hard as fuck. so i decided to make the call to resign from my job & go after the thing that excited me the most, which was making movies. i'm going full-time on youtube, travel to india in 2 days & figure out how to make a feature film by eoy. it's scary as fuck & i probably sound stupid crazy lol. but fk it. in the words of jim carrey, “You can fail at what you don't want, so you might as well take a chance on doing what you love.” ty for watching. gear used: camera: sony fx3, sony a7iii, & an iphone. lens: sigma 16-35mm, sigma 24-70mm. editing software: davinci, premiere. plugins: filmconvert get in touch: https://x.com/wordisbonz &   / joshuabonzo   soundtrack: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6Tk...
