To test your HydroWorx pool water's alkalinity, follow these steps using a Taylor test kit: Fill the comparator with 25 mL of pool water. Add two drops of R-0007 (thiosulfate) and swirl to mix. Add five drops of R-0008 (total alkalinity indicator). The sample will turn green. Add R-0009 (Sulfuric Acid) one drop at a time until the solution turns red. Count the number of drops as you go. Multiply the number of drops by 10 to determine water alkalinity. The ideal range is 80-120.
